One of God's Blessing = Good Health
I wish I can tell you that I'm in "Good Health" but I would be lying.
Right before Nursing Classes starts one of my requirements is to complete my healthforms for Clinical Clearance. I have went to the Doctor atleast more than 3 times. In those 3 times my blood pressure was high and so, my last visit the Doctor prescribed me with meds that will lower my blood pressure. If it was prescribed to a 50 year old person or 40 year old, that will be normal but to prescribed it someone who is 28, then that is abnormal, totally too early to be on meds for high blood pressure.
Anyway, overall I left the clinical being told by the Doctor to lose a lot of weight and then he will get me off the meds. I did a clinical trial for 4 days just to make sure that data was correct but to my dismay it was. So I started on my meds yesterday. I thought it would change me or make me tired. But actually as I read up on my meds , if I continue to exercise it will be more effective to my body. It will serve its purpose. I am taking it for the sake of my kidneys and the rest of my organs.
January 5, was the starting day, the first day of changing my lifestyle. I want to exercise more, lose the weight that I need to reach the normal weight of my height and body structure, eat healthy (that means learning to cook healthy), also treat myself occasionally (once a week) and enjoy doing it. That is my lifetime goal. I will not be able to balance all this overnight.
I can't wait for the rest of the "New Years Resolution People" who are taking up all the space in the gym to leave. Every time I go there, the gym is full~!
Anyway, here are my goals splitting it to one year, half the year and then to 60 days (2 months).
January 2010
Pounds - 90 pounds lighter since the weight February 2008
Blood Pressure - Normal (120-130/70-80)
July 2009
Pounds - 45 pounds lighter since the last weigh-in on January 5, 2009.

I know it may seem a lot by months but it is like losing 2 lbs a week which is normal. Anyway, I already lost 7 lbs from my goal of losing 15 lbs. So, I have 8 lbs to go until March 5.
I will post what I eat on Sundays from here on because with my schedule that is only the time I will have. Here comes Nursing school. Pray for me cousins! hehe.

Excellent! Good job with the plan! Works well with the 60 day idea. It's healthy anyway and it works, every 60 days should be a reachable goal. Thanks for encouraging me! Hope you get off those meds soon!
